All terms are per course. When you book a course you are accepting these booking conditions.
Booking and Fees: At the time of booking a course, you will be required to pay 30% of the total cost of the course as a deposit. All balances to be paid in full no later than 14 days prior to the course start date. APC reserve the right to refuse entry onto a training course if full payment has not been received prior to the start date.
APC reserves the right to refuse any application.
Change to courses: If you are unable to attend on the confirmed booking date and are able to give us at least 14 days notice, we will arrange an alternative date for you. Changes within 14 days prior to the course start date may not be possible and could result in a cancellation (see cancellation section below)
Absence: The full cost of the course will be payable for non-attendance. Absence from class for whatever reason, including sickness does not lead to a refund of fees nor can APC be expected to provide extra lessons without charge to compensate for such absence.
Cancellation: If cancellation request is received less than 14 days prior to the course start date, the full course fee will be payable or an alternative candidate can attend as a substitute.
If a cancellation request is received more then 14 days to the course start date, and balance paid will be refunded. The 30% deposit is non-refundable.
APC reserves the right to cancel or amend course dates, times and contents. All candidates will be notified in writing. In the unfortunate circumstances where a course may need to be cancelled at short notice, we will offer you suitable alternatives or reimbursement in full.
Attendees: Sensible clothing, preferably overalls, will need to be worn and can be expected to get dirty. Steel top-capped footwear for the duration of the course is strongly recommended.
We believe that the terms and conditions reflect the customs and practice of independent schools and colleges for many generations. The rules about change and about notice fees in lieu of notice and other rules are provided in good faith. They promote the stability, forward planning, proper resourcing and development of our college. They also help to protect increases in fees and liabilities caused by defaults of others. Any waiver is effective only if given in writing by a Director of APC. The Fees List as varied from time to time is part of these terms and conditions. Nothing in these terms and conditions affects the statutory rights of students or persons responsible for fees.
